More impact with fewer words. Part 2

Below is an excerpt  from an email exchange I had the privilege of listening into between John Lovitt and Joe Marasco, two colleagues and friends who are both great communicators, albeit they both have very different styles. This excerpt is from Joe who is explaining his rationale for limiting himself to 1 page to express some ideas about a very complicated and context dependent topic. I won’t even tell you what the topic was and I have replaced the actual topic with a placeholder (TOPIC X).
